Hello!

Hopefully my Fujitsu Styistic 5010D will arrive any day now. This is the first complete computer I've bought in over 10 years, normally I just by a part here and a part there.

When I started looking into the tablet PCs, I very quickly narrowed the field down to systems that use a Wacom digitiser. I have several Wacom tablets on my main home system, and I love they way they work.

I'm a computer geek by trade, but I want the tablet PC to supplement my hobbies as well as better organizing notes for work.

I play lots of role playing games, and I already do lots of the paperwork/artwork online. With the 5010D I want to be able to conviently take much of the data with me. I was quite impressed that Alias Sketch Book was able to open and zoom around on some of my larger more detailed maps (3,300 x 5,100 pixals ~ 30 Mb size) I think it will be really cool to be able to mark up my virtual maps/play aids in real time.

Sort of puts the SF into SF gaming!

I like to play around with art, I own photoshop and all sorts of 'natural drawing tools' I'm hoping that having a computer that follows me around will help me improve my drawing skills.

The third major reason for getting the table PC was to help me get better organized. I'm going to have to look around before selecting additional software.
