| Re: Raid 5 with Vista Ultimate x64 on non Raid drive... No boot disk detected! Did you install the raid drivers when you installed Vista (Press F6 to load
drivers from floppy etc.). If not then it is likely that all the drives were
running in EIDE mode (which doesnt neeed drivers in Vista or XP) but
switching on raid for any drive sets the system to running in raid/ahci mode
which does require drivers. I am sure there is a workaround to install them
after the operating system is installed but if you havent installed much
software or configured Vista then the easiest option in my opinion would be
just to reinstall and load the drivers at the prompt.
