Fujitsu Stylistic LT C-500 Pen with Win 2K???? Please help!

I’m in the same boat as a lot of folks who have purchase a Fujitsu LT C-500 and are having one heck of a time with the pen drivers.

When I got this thing, it had been reloaded and upgraded to Windows 2000.

At the time, the basic pen function worked…but unfortunately I tried to load the PenX software to get the handwriting recognition to work as well….big mistake.

Somehow in the process, I lost my basic pen functionality.

So now, I not only don’t have the PenX working, I don’t even have a pen at all.

I’ve downloaded drivers from Fujitsu, and have tried to load them…way too many times in different ways.

Currently I’ve uninstalled The PenX software and have been trying to get the basic pan function working again…with little success and a whole lot of aggravation.

The errors I’m getting on bootup are:

- wmierror accessing class instance
- tablet is not initialized / pen functionality is unavailable
- failed to initialize fpidrv.sys (interesting since I can’t even find this file on the tablet, or on the internet)

Under mouse drivers, I have the Fujitsu Stylistic 3400 pen loaded, but it “can not start” (Code 10)

Drivers:
Pencfg.cpl
Penmon.exe
Fujpen.sys
Pencal.dll

Fujitsu tech support, both online and on the phone have been of no help, and following different suggestions that I have read concerning other peoples problems with the pen on forums have gotten me deeper into the driver morass of pc death.

This is driving me nuts…can anyone help??
