When I installed Office 2007 Professional, Windows Desktop Search was ID as
need to support expanded Outlook 2007 features. Applicable only to Windows
XP not Vista. Installing adds a "Vista" like search. If you do not install,
you will likely get a prompt to install each time you open Outlook 2007.

In Outlook 2007, go to Help and search for Windows Desktop Search for more
information and direction on how to turn off the prompt.
