This worked. From SAFE MODE I was able to update the Video Card driver
directly with Windows. System restarted and came up in Normal mode with full
display. I'll still keep my power settings at NEVER shutting off, just in
case.

Thanks for your help. I appreciate it. Keeps my Pentium 3 (yes that's right)
computer going a bit longer for my daughter to use.
