: My tiny system disk is full. I have a large D: drive with plenty of space.
: Is there a way i can "move" windows to the D: drive without wiping out
: everything on it?
Sure, search for "Image program". Acronis is good.

:
: I tried installing XP on the D drive, now I have 2 copies of XP and can't
: get rid of the first (and I lost all my settings/users etc. on the new
: installation).
Why cant you get rid of first ?
To copy settings easily :
Login to your previous XP:
Type migwiz.exe in Start > Run. That will open "Files and settings wizard".
1.Click Next
2.Click Old Computer > Click Next
3.Click Other (for example, a removal......) > Choose a path > Click Next
4.Click Next
5.Follow steps.
Now Login to the new XP:
1. Click Next
2. Choose New Computer > Follow steps
