Hi,
The issue with KB931768 only affected users who had moved the Temporary
Internet Files folder, IIRC.
You might try installing updates in chronological order- 5 or 6 at a time
and critical updates only (this round) with a restart after 5 or 6.
There will also probably be unnecessary programs installed by the
manufacturer, loading at startup, which could be disabled.
