| RE: microsoft visual c++ runtime library runtime error c:\windows\expl I am running XP PRO with SP2 which I keep current with all Windows updates.
When I attempt to access folders in Explorer.exe I am now receiving the same
message in a Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library box which says:
"Program C:\WINDOWS\Explorer.exe
Abnormal program termination.
I have done a deep scan of my system for viruses, none have been detected. I
used more than one spyware program to do a deep scan also....no keyloggers or
other spyware have been detected. What is the cause of this problem and how
can it be corrected?
I do not want to do a system restore as I don't know what date this started
on exactly, although it had to have occurred within the last couple of days.
A system restore will impact other programs, so hopefully there is a fix for
this. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you! |
