Try clearing out the OneNote cache. To do so, shut down OneNote, go into
"c:\documents and settings\<username>\local settings\application
data\microsoft\onenote\12.0" and delete onenoteofflinecache.onecache and
onenoteofflinecache_files. Note that if you had remote notebooks open
this will also discard any changes that haven't yet been synchronized to
the server.
