I just read this by doing a search for .NET Framework on this site and it
worked for me. I manually downloaded Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Service
Pack 1 to my desktop from the following site.
[url]http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=A8F5654F-088E-40B2-BBDB-A83353618B38&displaylang=en[/url].

I executed it and then had to restart my computer. I then ran the
installation icon from my tray and it installed. Do a search for .NET
Framework and read the postings for today and yesterday.
