There are two options:
You can use the windowskey+S to capture a screenclipping to the unfiled
notes section. This will allow you to capture a portion of the active
OneNote window.
If you want to capture a screen clipping using the toolbar button, you
can open up a second OneNote window (ctrl+M) and then use the screen
clipping button from one of the windows to capture a clipping of the
other window.
