It is indeed very wise to use hibernation before storing or moving a portable
PC, and that is the reason why I started this thread in the first place,
because, as I have discovered, *Windows Automatic Update* – the king of the
hidden timed events (is not mentioned in the Task Scheduler list in my Vista
laptop) – was the one timed event that was interrupting my laptop from
*HIBERNATION* !
