i have this problem as well - i just posted my problem before i noticed this
post. i could download and save image files into My Pictures and they didnt
show up in the wallpaper list. but when i decided to use a saved image as
wallpaper, by right clicking and selecting 'save as background', all the
other images appeared in the wallpaper list as well?
