Re: How do I share a notebook that wasn't set up as a shared notebook?

Hey I actually just got done recording a video demo of how to do this (as
well as synchronization overview in general and using Hamachi to do it over
the internet) that will be posted on www.gottabemobile.com soon.

But the short answer is, all you need to do is share (via Windows file
sharing) the folder that contains the notebook, or any parent of that
folder. Basically, you need to be able to access the notebook from a UNC
path like \\MYTABLET\Users\Josh Einstein\Documents\OneNote Notebooks\Medical

As far as OneNote is concerned, there is absolutely no difference between a
notebook that is shared and one that is not. Creating a shared notebook
simply creates the Windows folder share for you. It's the act of *opening* a
notebook via a UNC (or removable drive) that triggers the magical
synchronization mechanism.
