No need to go that far. Simply uninstall IE7 and IE6 will be restored. You then
have to take steps to prevent Windows Update from "upgrading" your system to it
again.
Others may offer alternate solutions to block the update, but I found this to be
the easiest and most positive method for myself, my family, a few friends, and
some neighbors.

I was never impressed with IE7 in general, so I'm just staying with IE6 for now.
I prefer to let others work out IE7's compatibility issues....there are better
things to do with one's time.
