OK, here are my results:
1) Start IE7 in Non Add-Ons Mode
I tried this and the behavior persisted
2) Reset IE7 Settings
I tried this and the behavior persisted
3) Uninstall
I uninstalled IE7, which reinstalled IE6.
Now things worked fine, all webpages could be viewed OK and I could print
from IE.
I then re-installed IE7. On the account that had previously worked, it
went to the
http://runonce.msn.com\runonce2.aspx page and I successfully set this up and
things worked fine as in the past.
However, when logged into the account that had the problems in the past, I
noticed
that the runonce2.aspx page did not run properly. It did not go to that
page that allowed the IE selections, but instead just gave an error message.
So its like the initial IE7 setup did not occur. I did get a message asking
if I wanted to set up the phishing filter or not, which I left off. But I
still think the inability to run the runonce2.aspx script left IE in an
incomplete setup state.
So the bottom line is I am still in the same state. IE7 works fine when
logged into the first account, but still has the same problems when logged
into the 2nd account.
Thanks for all your help, I am awaiting further advice.
