Greg,

I *think* this depends on the device. My O2 Xda Zinc (WM6) does exactly as
your bosses device does but a T-Mobile Wing will automatically add them. I
don't know for sure if I'm correct on this but it is a behavior I've seen.
I don't have a Mogul so I can't confirm/deny what you are seeing. Hopefully
someone with a Mogul will post as well.
