Good day

In trying to join a Windows XP SP2 HP laptop (with a different domain name)
to my domain (Windows Server 2003 SP1), I just went straight to the My
Computer, Right-clicked and changed its previous domain name to my current
one.

I had hoped to keep this user's profile when the laptop now connects to my
current domain. But alas, I ended up failing to login.
Now the user can no longer access his profile.

As a temporary solution, I used the administrator account on the laptop to
log into the system and then created a new user account which authenticates
to my current domain. Then I had to copy his old documents and e-mail folder
and restored them in this new profile.

I wanted to find out if there is a way of reversing the very initial changes
that I made and propably restoring the old user profile and laptop to its
previous domain?

Can someone help please?
