now that Vista has been released for over 6 months, what is the
verdict? is it a version that will go the way of Windows ME? ls
preference for retaining & using Windows XP? Will users prefer to
use Vista?

Should purchasers of new computers opt for Vista or XP?

I know there are differing opinions, but now that 6 months have gone
by, and there has been test of time, I would welcome CURRENT
