With windows Vista you dont need editing software to take a screen shot of
your desktop.

Use the Snipping Tool to capture a screen shot, or snip, of any object on
your screen and then annotate, save, or share the image.

To capture a screen shot...

Got to Start menu, Programs, Accessories and click on Snipping Tool.
click new and follow the directions for a full screen capture.

You can upload the image to Imageshack ot Photobucket for free if you need
it hosted.

You can also hit the "print screen" button then open "Paint"

and then hit "ctrl + V"

then save it, then upload it
