Re: Powerpoint 2007 and Type 1 fonts - size limitation

(saw your response in m.p.powerpoint)

I have printers installed. Two actual printers are network shared from
other PCs - one uses the Vista provided driver (LaserJet III) and other uses
the newer HP Universal Driver (HP Inkjet 2230 HPA. The Vista driver for
this printer seems not to work on a network share!?) Also have PrimoPDF
installed.

I installed a new, local printer as a dummy, set it as default, rebooted,
and the problem persists.

Next thought?

Odd. I don't recall seeing this in the PPT group. Wonder if we're having
issues with posts not showing up?

Anyway, try installing a Windows certified printer driver locally on the
machine. PPT 2007 is really picky about the printer drivers, and stuff
piling up/odd display issues are one typical symptom.

Here's instrux for adding a local printer driver:
http://www.pptfaq.com/FAQ00605.htm (The drivers that ship with Vista will be
Vista-certified.)
