desktop pc plus intuos2 = tabletpc?

hi,

i have installed win xp tabletpc edition on my (standard) desktop computer
(cd from msdn). this computer has a wacom intuos2-tablet attached via usb.
after i installed the intuos2-drivers, i could use the pen; no problem.
everything seems to work fine (handwriting recognition).

-but-

as i see it, the intuos2 is not really a tabletpc-compatible (penabled?)
input device, because the "write everywhere" feature tells me that it hasn't
found any pen-hardware. i installed xpsp2 to see if that would help, but no
luck.
on the wacom support site, i found that it is supposed to work when you have
a cintiq together with an intuos, but i haven't found information about
intuos alone. mailing support didn't help either...

is there anyone who is using such configuration? any hints are very
welcome...

thanks
franz
