A quick scan of Happauge's site shows -no- Vista support for the 3 or 4 TV
cards I looked at on their home page. Have you tried disabling the Happauge
card in device manager to see if your sound "comes back?" You might also
have to disable the virtual audio cable, too, which I'm assuming is related
to the TV card. The High Definition Audio Device driver is, I think (unless
it existed in XP too), a native Vista audio driver. Also, is that the real
model number of the TV card? I could find no such model # on the Happauge
site, but admit I did not dig any deeper than the home page.
