Media Center stopped working only because WMP (which it relies upon) wasn't
working. I apologize: I never saw any indication or notice of your failed
WMP. There's not many ways to break it at this point that shouldn't be
straight-forward to fix provided enough information is provided. That's of
course difficult over the Internet where everything largely becomes psychic
debugging, but -- WMP is generally going to be pretty recoverable. I'm
sorry you felt stymied by whatever failure you hit on its part.
