| Re: UNBELIEVABLE! Have lost all my data--held hostage for $$$
cross posting to a minimal extent, by incident and accident, sorry.
Traveler, the word that Ultimate is required in order to make use of the RC
totalbackup, came via Paul at the Installation panel. He told me to refer
to line number two of the linked MS document. I did, and it clearly says
that total backup is available (only?) in Ultimate.
I did not ask for trialware Ultimate. That's what they sent us all.
If force feeding is not evident here, then the point is lost.
I only want my data back. If I have to pay now yet another premium price to
"upgrade" to an OS version I don't want, just to retreive my data, well,
then that's what I'll have to to do.
By misinformation and confusion---which can hardly be any 'accident', MS is
making money hand-over-my-ass. And everybody else's too! True?
