Hi Phil, I have the Wxp SP2 proffessional Edition. Some months ago I had
downloaded the IE 7.0 that was offered by the Messenger system. I used it and
I had no problem. A week ago, the man who repairs the pc told to uninstall IE
7.0 because "I'm not like it". So I did it. Then, yesterday I decided to
install it again. First I downloaded it from Windows Update. It began to do
what you have said but in a different way: I can only load the microsoft.com
sites. I can't access to any other site even Google, Yahoo or Wilkipedia.
It's driving me crazy. But now that I've heard what you've said, I think that
IE 7.0 has big problems and that Microsoft.com should have to do something
about.
Regards
Noesis
