| Mochant and I have alot in common. The Tablet Enhancements for Outlook are great additions and I believe there will be a newer version released as soon as SP2 is completed. I started off using Outlook for my calendar and contacts (this is what I have always used and love it) and used One Note for my notetaking. One Note really great filing and organizational features. However, I really wanted one program that was the total package. A program that was specifically designed for ink capabilities.
I kicked and screamed leaving Outlook behind and turned to Franklin Covey Tablet Planner. I have not been disappointed. It combines my calendar, contacts and notes in one program. One feature that I haven't heard mention to much is the search capabilities of Tablet Planner. Something I think might be a great benefit to you as an attorney. TP does a complete search in all documents, notes, calendar events for any specified inked or typed word and list them as an index on a single page. Many search engines only search the headers of documents, but TP searches the entire text of everything. This has really impressed me. I still need outlook for my email and still use One Note for some meetings, but slowly everything except email is evolving to Tablet Planner. One other cool feature is that I sync the Tablet Planner to my Outlook on my Desktop. |
