| Re: Screen brightness since your's is a laptop, other functions are... if you hold down the FN key
(which is a different color than your keyboard keys) it should be located on
the left below the shift key, then when you hold that down and press on the
symbols in blue (i.e. the PgUp key which is for turning on and off the sound)
