For future reference (found this by accident) open the display
properties, click advanced and then the mfg's video utility... the Intel
utility has a "Hotkey" tab that lists the keystrokes.

fwiw, I generated a desktop shortcut to the Intel utility from it's
control panel entry to ease getting to it until I learn that Ctl-Alt-F12
will do the same.

I'm currently trying to set a scheme so I can easily toggle to extended
desktop view when docked, but, for some reason, while it works, it sets
the laptop video to 800x600 even though it can be manually reset to 1024x768
