The below resolution seems to have fixed it. I didn't see an _Autoplay but I
did see a folder (key) called Shell while other mapped drives did not have
this. I deleted this key and it seems to have worked. Thank you for your
assistance.
"I had the same issue on a machine running XP Pro and a friend found a
solution, maybe it will work for you. In the registry editor I did a
search for a key called MountPoints2. Under that key are listed
mapped resources, and a subkey to the one in question there was a
_Autoplay and a Shell key. After deleting both keys and saving the
registry, it worked as normal. "
