What topic? Where? Why not? What was the error

Dunno what those are. Well, Adobe rings a bell.

What's a blue screen? What's XP? What's Vista?
This is a Linux newsgroup. None of those terms mean
anything to me... though I'm sure many of the M$
converts will know what you're referring to.

What does instal mean? What's linix?

Wouldn't know about that. Linix may be some odd
Unixish OS I've never heard of. Do you mean Minix?
Or... since this is a Linux newsgroup, do you mean
Linux (rhymes with Linus)?

I would say judging from your typing skills that
something as powerful as the CLI could really mess you
up. Better not use it.

Command line is for power users and for those with
a curiosity about the engine underneath that shiny GUI
hood and for those interested in scripting. Obviously
you're WAY out of your league.
> LONG LIVE THE GUI!!
Sure for people who care more about the color of
their car than the type of engine under the hood.
> anyways, now I'm in a linix chatroom,
Again, what's linix? What chatroom? You should ask
THEM what they're talking about.

I think it means they can't spell any better than you
can... but maybe there's some kind of Windows thing
known as a colonel. Anyway, how are WE supposed to
know what kind of discussions you're having in some
chatroom?
> OMG
I know you're a troll and all, but...
On the very remote chance that this was a serious post,
forget about Linux (rhymes with Linus) and go back to
your Redmondware... or better yet, buy a Mac.
When my father ran into problems with Red Hat many
years ago (RH 5.1, IIRC), and I was thousands of miles
away so could no longer go over and rescue him, I
recommended Mac to him, and he's been happy and
productive with it ever since. Use the OS that suits
you best. Obviously it's not Linux (rhymes with Linus). |
