FREE Tips for IE7, and FireFox USERS!!!

I was afraid that firefox, Maxthon and Avantbrowser would lose lots of
dedicated users (well not ff users that much because
they love it for too many reasons) with the release of IE7. But now the
incredibly low quality of IE7 is a gift to those people who were working on
those alternative browsers. It seems that THEY are the ones who will bring
browsers to another level an keep advancing the technology.

I urge you to take a look at these alternative "shells" and firefox if you
have not done it yet:

In other words, my main tip for IE7 users is to avoid using it :-) (hehe I
know.. I know but IE7s User interface is reeaaaalllllly bad)

www.avantbrowser.com >> this is the best shell (or alternative user
interface) for the IE6 or IE7 rendering engine.
If you want the extra security but hate the IE7 interface, install IE7 but
use the avantbrowser shell (interface).
www.Maxthon.com >> version 2.0 is coming very soon.. and it looks nice....

and of course Firefox www.getfirefox.com

Firefox has a simple interface when you first install it, BUT this browser
can do almost anything imaginable with add-ons,
so after installing it, go to tools> add-ons and explore the site... you
will be amazed
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/extensions/ (to install these you must
go to the site with firefox)

Tip 1: Many add-ons are not yet compatible with the fresh version 2 of
FireFox, BUT you can use this add-on to
trick them into thinking you are using the older version. I have seen 95% of
the add-ons that I have tried work great!
Get it here http://users.blueprintit.co.uk/~dave/web/firefox/nightly

See screenshots on how to use it:

or if you upgraded from 1.5.x and your add-ons are no longer working.. see
here: MAGIC!!!

NOTE: Its not possible to have tested all the FF add-ons so I can be sure
that something may not go wrong, so you can try these add-ons on the
portable version of FF you will see below, if all your add ons work good,
then you can install them on the normal installed version of FF

Tip2: If you dont want to install FF but you want to try it, you can use the
PORTABLE version from here
www.portableapps.com RC3 is the SAME build (same thing) as version 2.0
Portable apps normally are used on removable drives like USB sticks, but no
one says you cant use them on your hard drive
as normal programs! Thats what I do to avoid installing too much stuff.....

I am unfortunately leaving out opera... I am doing this on purpose.. because
they insist on holding on to their "strange" interface,
that alienates new users....
