Thanks for the link to the patch.

I then had problems with IE7 working for about 5 mins and then refusing to open pages. No connection problem as could still send and receive mail through Outlook. Found KB 917425 but that didn't sort it.

Tried downloading Firefox but that had same problem. Would work for c 5 mins then not work and had to reboot to get internet access for another 5 mins. V frustrating.

In the end I removed Zonealarm Firewall and now everything seems to be ok but I only have Windows Firewall and I'm not very happy about that. Can you recommend a fix? Is there a conflict between either of the patches and Zonealarm. If so, is there a different free firewall you recommend?
