However, be aware that Microsoft sells two basic types of licenses, retail and OEM. If this "kit" is of the OEM type, then it can not be transferred to a new PC. OEM licenses are tied to the original hardware, which usually means the original motherboard, sometimes even the original BIOS version on the motherboard.
Try checking with Microsoft for the details of the license you purchased. If it is a retail license, then try calling this number for assistance with product activation:
