Hi,
after LOTS of mucking around I finally got my laptop back. A huge thank you to the retailer who went out on a limb for me after Toshiba refused to find the error. Two different lots of techs couldn't work out the problem and only after Toshiba management got involved did they eventually admit to the problem that the screen did lock up.
It was eventually tracked back to a bad 1Gb stick of ram that was faulting erratically.
It was replaced and the system has not missed a beat since I have had it back.
I am now a happy mirgy! |
