I am not sure what might be happening. I suppose it could be a power
issue. (janitor unplugs perhaps?)

You said you have looked at the logs. Have you looked at the
Relilability and Performance monitor and clicked on the Reliability
Monitor subsection and look at the System Stablity Chart to see if
this says anything? ( I know this is kind of like looking at the
logs) A power yank should show up here as a disruptive shutdown
(other things can cause this message too)

Also (this is kind of silly) but parental controls can force a logout
as well as settings in the domain controller,
