I'm having the same problems upgrading to Vista Ultimate from Home Premium.
My message is the same with the following changes. My even comes back and
tells me that the event name is: " Blue Screen" I did get an update from
Windows for the Intel processer. My laptop is brand new.

Any Help? Should I just put in the restore disk from Gateway and start from
