| Re: Windows Defender I have the same issue and please realize, we are not that dense. No matter
how many times or how I initiate the check for updates I continually receive
the "There are no new definitions available to download for Windows
Defender." message. Windows Defender will not start back up. I personally
am running Vista Ultimate x64.
