We finally solved the problem with my tablet PC. It appears that IBM made a docking station for the X41, that is not compatible with the X41 Tablet.

It took a while, but we finally found a compatibility chart on the IBM/Lenovo website hat shows this. Even the dealer did not know about it. There does not seem to be a docking station available for the X41 Tablet.
