There are several old versions of ActiveSync available at
http://www.oldversion.com/program.php?n=msasync
According to
http://www.pocketpcfaq.com/faqs/acti...imitations.htm
ActiveSync 3.8 installs a converter for Pocket Word files, but AS 4.x
doesn't!
So give AS 3.8 a try before upgrading Office.
Cheers
