Thank you for this. I couldn't find it under
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Explorer\
So did a search. Found two -
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Explorer\CabinetState
Both said no, so I changed them to yes. This certainly fixed the problem. But I
now wonder if what I did was overkill? I did another search just now, in order
to copy the key and now found another two:
HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-682003330-1563985344-1202660629-1003\Software\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Main
HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-682003330-1563985344-1202660629-1003\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Exp lorer\CabinetState
I don't think they were there before. :-) Did I brake something while fixing it?
