I called Gateway Support, and they never heard of this problem, nor could they fix it. The technician told me that I should return the system to where I bought it, and exchange it for a new one.

I called back, and another tech had me do a "system restore" -- Which I did, and right from the system restore, before making any changes, updates, or installation of any software, it still will NOT insert text into "WORDPAD"

However, it WILL insert text into NOTEPAD.

I have no explanation for this! I cannot figure out what is wrong, and Gateway is no help either.

I think that I *will* return this, and buy a different tablet altogether. Too bad Dell doesn't make Tablets yet.
