It's not a question of a better or worse choice but a question
of syntax. Decide for yourself which of your two statements
makes any sense:
1. "the volume of the mass of its particles"
2. "the volume of the mass of it is particles"
Since #2 makes no sense, #3 is equally wrong:
3. "the volume of the mass of it's particles" |
