A laptop is an old 1990s term that resurfaced a little while ago and people who were not in the industry embraced it without knowing the sad history of laptops. Anyway, a Tablet PC is a fully functional notebook with additional features such as ink, speech recognition, and includes the Tablet PC OS (Windows XP Pro plus additional features).
