Hey everyone,

I am hoping this is too hard. I have the M1300 as a secondary machine for demoing and testing software. From time to time I have it wiped and freshly installed by IT.

THis time when it came back the wireless card was not operational. The dashboard sw says no wreless device found. Going into device mgmt shows no wireless hw hoever does show an unknown wireless controller.

IT has rightfully rejected working on this since its not a standard config for our company.

Hoping it was a driver issue I went to the motion website and found 2 different drivers to install (broadcom and Intel). I did not understand that but I went ahead and tried each. no change.

So hre is where I confess I might have caused my own issues. When I had the tablet here in the ofc, I would shut down the wireless to avoid network problems with the wired connection. I may have given it in that state to IT.
Is it therefore possible that the card is "off" and just needs to be tuned on to be recognized? I tried going into the BIOS but there is nothing there to turn it on.

ANyways, I am confused and hoping someone here might have some ideas.
