Ok, i just want to treat it like a football and punt it out the window! I have inherited this TravelMate and am about to lose my mind!

It is painfully slow, loses internet connectivity, bogs down and oh did i mention PAINFULLY slow?! chances are, if 3 programs are open, it will hang, then the "not responding" nightmare begins.

It is a C100 with XP PC ed. 2005, ver 2002. Acer Mbile Intel pentium III CPU-M 900Mhz - 395 MHz 256MB Ram
and there is only 8 of the 40 GB's used!!

I think he put a ton of crap on here and just hacked away at the computer. I understand i cannot restore it to its original shape because the discs are OEM.....i am about to just load XP Pro onto it asnd forget about the whole tablet capabilities.....thats how frustrated i am!

is there anything i can do to optomize this thing? Any suggestions, even the most obvious would be helpful.
