A.O.L. vs. PeoplePC, Netscape, and other less expensive Dial-up Software

How do you repair your computer's modem when your PC's modem
has been wiped-out by A.O.L. , and rand your PC's modem has been made
unfit for accessing an outside line because you were brazen enough to
want to get A.O.L. out of your computer and so you deleted A.O.L.'s
software from your computer system? How do you repair shared files
that have been wiped out, in that way, making your modem ineffective
because you had the DeGaul to delete A.O.L. from your computer. And
worse A.O.L. software still works. And should there be a law to
safeguard cheaper internet access companies like PeoplePC by outfits
like A.O.L. that once accessed make your computer system's modem
unusable by Peoplepc, Netscape, etc., for peole who live on very
limited incomes.
