No Video, Help

Hello,
I am trying to get a friends E Machine going, she has no video.
I really don't know to much about repairing computer, but I am trying to
learn.
I also had to put in a new power supply because the fan stopped working, I
don't know if this some how had anything to do with the problem with the
video.
There are no beeps when I try to boot up, video is build in the motherboard,
I tried installing a couple different video cards and did not get anywhere
doing that.
The Motherboard is a FIC AM37, could it be the motherboard is shot??.

I also am trying to fine out why a Compaq that belongs to another friend
keeps on rebooting, it has the same type of motherboard that the one above
has.
It acts like it's possessed, it starts on it own and then shuts down on it
own, it might run for 15-30 seconds then shut down and maybe 3-4 seconds
after it shuts down it will start up again. the longest it has run at one
time is about 10 minutes before shutting down again.
I have tried 2 new power supplies, but that did nothing to help the problem.
I can't keep it running long enough to try and run any diagnostic program,
like to check the memory or whatever I could find out.

Thanks for any help I can get.
Charley
