Yes. I have disconnected the adapter and removed the battery as a troubleshooting step. That did not work.

Does your adapter have an LED on it? My ViewSonic's does, but my Motion's doesn't. LED? Is that the "box-like" part of the adapter that connects the two wires? If so, then yes.

I do not have a docking station.


My Tablet PC is under a three year warranty, so I think I will be able to get it fixed/replaced for a minimal fee, perhaps, though.. I will buy a new power adapter first..to see if THAT is the problem.

Oh by the way, can one use other HP adapters on my HP Tablet and NOT screw anything up? I have a friend who has another HP laptop, but could his power adapter work for my tablet? Any risk involved? (I would hate to mess up his laptop )
