| OneNote Question Hey everyone,
I had a quick question about OneNote (2003). I am sending PDF and PPT files directly to OneNote and then using Ink to highlight/write directly on the pdf file.
Two questions relating to this:
1. Is there a way to import these types of file and have the content searchable? Right now, OneNote treats the incoming file as an image (and so the contents are not searchable).
2. Is there an easy way to choose a section of my notes (say highlight the bottom half of a page) and effectively "cut" it out and insert it into another page (whether an existing one or an old one)? It would be very important that the Ink at least remain searchable (so using the SideNote snipping tool won't cut it as it'll treat the ink as an image and it will no longer be searchable). Effectively, I have taken notes on huge 30 page PDF documents which are just one page, but would like now to break that page into many different pages in different sections and folders. I would love it if this was possible, even better if it is easy.
And last unrelated question:
Is there anyway to have the snipping tool icon including in the toolbar in OneNote and not just in the SideNote interface?
Thank you everyone for your time and consideration in answering my hopefully not too stupid questions,
